Some of you fine folks that follow some of the side challenges are familiar with the Glendale AZ sugar beet factory. I have been returning each week to get additional photos of this classic old abandoned building, in an effort to give it some dignity in the final part of its life.

I believe I have finished the photo study. It can be found in my portfolio here.

Anyone from this area (or elsewhere for that matter) can read the history of this magnificent building, with all of its intrigue and despair, here.

Freakin' AWESOME!!!!!

It's kinda weird to be fascinated by big old abandoned buildings, though.....

This is a friend's website. The Civil Twilight series is of abandoned grain elevators. He shoots with an 8x10 view camera after sunset, during civil twilight. He also does all his own developing, discussed under the Supporting Techniques section.
