I'm fine with it as long as it's not conceptual art.

Damned conceptual art!
01/23/2008 07:36:45 PM · #6
Works for me.

Another great tutorial, Don!

No, No, No! This type of stuff might even get me a ribbon, and I can't have that! The chase is all I have and NOW you come up with this... how dare you! The more I think about your tutorial, the angrier I get. Damnit Don, someone might actually read this and act on it throwing my whole game down the crapper. It's not fair... take it down at once!

Most useful tutorial in the house -a "10", really, but for the short scale.
01/23/2008 08:29:38 PM · #10
Loved this part:

"...the key is to rate the experience you just had..."

Glad this tutorial was finally posted. It should be required reading really.

outstanding tutorial! well done!

I'd comment on that, but my mind is now empty.

Another great tutorial - thanks for tackling the often hotly-contested issue of voting that didn't boil down to a definition of what each number, 1-10, should mean.
01/23/2008 09:01:52 PM · #14
Outstanding! Should appear every time someone is going to start voting
Great job, Don. Thanks

PS: This Tutorial deserves a Posthumous Ribbon

but if you vote art high there is no angst
and with no honest angst there is no art ..

aaagaggghhhh..
i need to drown in self pity..
but if i drown, i'll be famous
but i'll be dead & likely won't enjoy that
but there will be lots of angst ..

(good tutorial ;)

Lost me at first step "Empty Your Mind"

There is no WAY I can do that :/
01/23/2008 09:46:03 PM · #19
How do you know which ones are artistic and which aren't? Huh?

I'm going to assume they all are and start commenting on the rest of Best of 2007 in that fashion.

After trying this for the last 7 entries, I fear the repercussions if I continue. Perhaps this is excercise is better left for kind and empathetic people.

I s'pose you might have said something about not being able to empty that which is already void?
