Ok, so is there a "Web version" of the premiere? I don't have cable, so wondering if I can pick up the show online? AmericanIdol.com or Fox.com?

No, I didn't get his name. I'm still getting over the guy from Egypt who loves women from their hair all the way down to their nipples, and the guy who sang if Paula was a bathtub, he'd caulk her.

There seems to be a lot of good talent this year. I can't believe the nerd/broadway-style dude made it through! There was a lot of talent that cut, so i was surprised he has made it this far.

Yep, I like him too, though he got knocked down a peg at his last song. He dismissed the band!

Yea, but his previous performances saved him. It was good that he was given another chance, he's just gonna have to learn how to work with a strange band.

I wouldn't get too attached to him. I'll be pretty surprised if he makes it through tonight. I think his story of living in the car is what has kept him this long, more than his talent has.

ok so I never watch this show past the rejects but their is so much talent this year. I also love that they can play their instruments this year, that was really cool. But who do I like their are so many.... a few I would like to see are the first girl whom played the piano last night, and david the little 16 year old kid, the rocker biker chick and also the little girl Ramiele her voice is amazing. But again so many I like I cant remember them all.

Ones I dont like first a big thank you to simon and paula for sending the miss america model chick home... ahh she was annoying..lol
Also please I hope they send home our future nerdy president and the dude with accent that singing too and kissing all the girls.

My favourites are the: 16 year old kid! he's representing all the young teenager singers. The rock chick, love her Janis Joplin voice. She's kind of like Chris Daughtry, so you never know she could do fairly decent. Also the girl who's dad died before the show, amazing voice. Lastly that soul singer who sang Bohemian Rhapsody.

Wow same picks as Cujee here except the Janis Joplin chick...looks fun but the world is not ready for another Janis (ever).

Watch the dude that did Boheimian Rhapsody last night... that is a huge song to sing and he hit it big. He will do well. Yup on the 16 year old, kind of like the guy from Sugar Ray's sound, wicked voice for a young un.

The two black girls (one lost here dad) the other that was having problems with here voice, both have some pipes and are going to do really well.

Does not feel sorry for the guy who thinks so highly of himself and crys (kid who ran away and lives in his car) glad they put him in his place...

Bumpy....

Okay, first Im really sick of the 60's being a theme.

Nothing against the 60's, but most of the comments from the judges so far are right, that it sounds to old fashioned.

Come on you are forcing these young men to sing songs from 40 years ago....

But anyway, Im ranting.. Just a friendly bump..

No spoilers-- Ill just give numbers---

6 the best
12 my second fav
11 is in third..

you do the math---

The 70's theme was ok. A few good performances 1 I thought really stood out was the last kid David Archuleta He has an amazing voice for his age and the control over it is also amazing for his age. He is a natural.

I also think Jason Castro showed signs of a natural performer, I do not see him winning it all. But I can picture a huge career ahead of him.
