It had to happen, this thread.

Pacific Northwest Photographers (well I at least) think the Seattle Seahawks have a shot.

We have some advantages: 3 time zones; the loudest stadium in the league; 10 and 6 record; heart, and Underdog status.

We have some disadvantages: Quirky win/loss record; Unpredictability; Sean Alexander (advantage/disadvantage?); Hasselbeck (advantage/disadvantage?); 1 & 3 closing season record.

Will the offense show up? The defense?

But I'm betting on the home team! How 'bout you?

Hate to rain on your parade Doc, but Seattle will be lucky to win a game.

Ray, I know you, at least met you here at the GTG. You're Canadian ... what do you know about American Football? You do not have your head screwed on straight. Not a rant, just an observation.

Redskins: Over confident; due for a trouncing; lost to Seattle in playoffs 2 years ago; dead meat!

i have to agree with doc here... Washington may have some momentum and their defense is impressive but you gotta love Seattle's pass defense at home field. And the Washington offense is suspect - your TE can't be you're #1 reciever. Anyway, Eagles would beat 'em all ;D

NOBODY....well hardly anyone beats Seattle at home. I am a die hard goodtimes/badtimes fan but i will say this; they WILL win saturday but i believe they will lose against GB, tho i must say i like their chances against GB better than Dallas.

Hmmmmmmm lemme see. The field is a lot shorter and narrower, there are less guys on the field, you four downs and oh yeah.... Buffalo recently converted their stadiums into an arena so you that 72,000 plus fan could enjoy a really good sport... HOCKEY.

Seriously, the sad truth is that Seattle probably plays in the weakest of the conferences and I seriously doubt they are going anywhere this year.

Ahem ... HAIL TO THE REDSKINS ...
There will be seahawk feathers all over the field in Seattle.

The Redskins right now are on a mission and are the hottest team in the NFL...
I think that it will be close but I am predicting Cowboys Redskins round 3

wouldn't it be CRAZY if they got bumped in the second round!?!?!?

man that would be so delicious, i am torn between wanting to see them go all the way and seeing their fans suffer like we did with the 94 sonics and '01 mariners

Okay, Pats are on an incrdible run. I bow from the knees to them! Time for a "fall from grace." First round defeat ... is my prediction.

Don't forget that Super Bowl a couple of years ago. They pretty much gift wrapped that one to the Steelers.

that does not bother me at all i mean at least they MADE it to the game, that was all i wanted, sonics went out to the nuggets in the first round and mariners in the second to NY and both teams had DOMINATED the leagues in those years

I know it's a long shot but I gotta go with my team ....THE GIANTS...

I really don't think the Sonics have a chance to make it to the superbowl this year, so my money (at least $5 of it) is on the Seahawks.

I'll belay the trash talk though, as I still have a few feathers stuck in my teeth from last year.

I don't see how the Seahawks can get too far with that running game. I know their passing is good but it ain't New England good. Also, is Walter Jones even healthy?

:-) A rematch with the Cowboys would be interesting for sure! I think the Seahawks are in for a surprise. Either way it should be a good (close) game IMO.

Go REDSKINS!

REDSKINS RULE! The Skins are playing the best they have played all year. Looking forward to watching the game and next week too against Dallas again. Go Skins!
