$300 from my old man pays for... oh, lets say he got me the SB800 I bought last week. :-P (or 50 1.4... hehe.)

My fiance picked me up a pair of Canucks tix for Feb 16 vs the Oilers, pretty stoked on that!

You really don't want those tix. You want to give them to me. Really, you do!

Well considering the fact that its probably going to be ANOTHER shootout loss... damn oil and their shootout mastery!

I got an IPhone and permission to get a Mac G5 on steroids for my photog biz. But, most of all... I got to go to church to celebrate the real reason for the season. I also had the honor of seeing my two childrens faces light up this morning when they realized Santa came and left them all the things that they had asked him for. What an amazing sight, to see your kids (6 year old girl and 8 year old boy) giggle and be so happy. I really miss growing up and watching out my window for the slightest twinkle of red light to fly by. We lived near an airport in Oceanside CA. It was a small commuter port so we always thought Santa was flying all over the city when I was young. It turned out a couple of years later to be the stupid planes and not Rudoplph like we had thought. Oh well I figured out what girls were about a month later. It helped with the major let down. Merry Christmas everyone.

-a "16 x 16"inch table top portable mini-studio. I still have to practice with it more and figure out how to get rid of those frontal reflections, but I'm happy!

-a reflector/diffuser kit (also portable). 1 silver, 1 gold, 1 black, 1 white, and 1 diffuser. Yay! Can't wait to practice :D

-a 14 hour photoshop tutorial dvd. might be good when I actually get my fried hard drive up and running again :(

-a new 2GB sandisc SD mamory card. My old one has been filled up for 6 months, jeez!

-Cocoa.

-2 $50 checks from relatives.

-a solenoid canister. Dunno what that is? Neither did I until I went to get my car repaired and they wanted to charge $600 bucks to fix it. So I asked what was wrong, they gave me the part name, I told my stepdad and he gave it to me :) At least now my car won't be leaking flammable fluids anymore. yikes.

- More cocoa...and chocolate, lots of it. Ghirardelli and Lindor and some chocolate gingerbread thing. Apparently my diet is being sabotaged by my loved ones *munch munch*

-A Teavana gift card. It's a cool tea place and they have a million different kinds of loose leaf tea. I thought I was only about coffee but apparently not :)

-Lotion, a hair clip, earrings, soap (can't use it, too strong), and coffee.

So not bad, not bad at all :) I only wish I had more gift cards so I can buy some new clothes, but I haven't exchanged gifts with my friends yet so my wish still might come true. Fun times, Merry Christmas!

That's what I gave Becky-Lee. She'd asked for a tablet (for editing, mostly) and a Bamboo was in my budget until I found the Graphire on usedvictoria.com. It's in perfect condition and half the price of new. I was sooooooooo excited, watching her open it :D

I bought a graphic tablet from NewEgg and I love it. It isn't a Wacom, I went cheap because I didn't know if I would like it or not and I can tell you that it is awesome! I seriously don't know how I edited photos without it. It is so much better than trying to edit with a mouse. When I used adjustment layers and paint in the masks it is awesome for getting the area I want. Play with it, you will like it.

I was given a used Wacom Graphite by my daughter. Unfortunately it came without pen and software, so I need to figure out where to get the missing items. Even so, its a sweet gift.
