There's really too many good photographers here to list all in a go. I thought I'd share that simplesilent is a photographer here that just blows me away with her imagery. And at her age too... though of course age has nothing to do with talent. If you haven't browsed her portfolio, go through it slowly and enjoy. It's very rewarding.

Does anyone blow you away?

i covered this in an earlier thread but i think shannonlee is one hell of a fotog....the way she sees things in the everyday is fantastic.

I am a HUGE fan of my buddy roz and i used to think she was underrated on this site but now she has a ribbon under her belt and alot of top 20 finishes.

and i dont think sandyp has ever taken a bad picture....the nerve of some people!

and someone who i cant believe does not have a list of ribbons as long as her lovely legs is silverfoxx

Mambe has been an inspiration to me. I admire her strength, courage and determination and the openness and honesty she displays in her self portraits.

My inspirations in DPC are the ones I hate most totally due to jealousy. If I hate you, that means I envy you.

Also, if you have more than 5 ribbons, especially blue ones, you are most hated and admired same time.

Others, step aside, much more learning to do ;)

Are you kidding? There are 45 million people in DPC, I have not looked at even 1 percent yet. The ones active in forums the ones I know, but how about the ones are not active. I don't check profiles when I vote, or whatever. There some people I know, but it wouldn't be true if I say some of them are my favs, I don't want to skip others that have excellent talents.

My biggest inspiration to me though is myself. I love what I do how I do... and lots of improvements. Go FocusPoint ;)

Yeah, that was the purpose of this thread, to show off the ones you never hear from, like simplesilent.

maybe you should have asked "who loves their own photography?"

Without spending a great deal of time to sort through a huge list of truly great photographers on this site, I pulled ten names out of my favorites list, each of which in some form I would like to emulate or build on strengths or weaknesses I have. I'm sure I could add 50 names here easily, and opted not to include any from the top 15 Favorites

In no particular order:

mia67
ShannonLee
RKT
jjbeguin
Ivo
JPR
rscorp
Dax-
terje
biteme

Poke around their portfolios or take a look at my favorites to see some of their endeavors.

He's way up there for me. If anybody needs inspiration for the "Beauty In The Everyday" challenge he's the one to check out.

Second that. Andre's portfolio is always a good one to take time and wander through.
