Greetings, I took a break from the job hunt and genealogy research, and went for a nature hike today. I took these at Oak Openings Preserve near Toledo, Ohio.



I've got to take more breaks!

It was an enjoyable walk and I'm going to have to find something to do inbetween grass cutting season and snow shoveling season. I hate to find a new job and find out my work clothes don't fit anymore. Thanks.

Oh! I'm not too far from Toledo. Where is this? It appears that there is a good variety of animals there. Looks like you got some great shots!

I really didn't know what to expect from the title of the thread, what with all the weird stuff floating around ... but ... nice pictures, good break!

Its just west of Toledo on State Route 2. Its a wonderful place for hiking and photography. One of the few remaining Oak Savannas in the country. Here is a link:
