Yeah I wanted to go ahead and get this started. Hopefully it is not too early. But I think it will give more time for wishes to be filled and maybe it will help us DPC'ers unite.

I will copy nsoroma79 post from last year. (Hope she doesn't mind)

Want to grant a holiday wish?? It's easy!

1. Your reply should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon/graphic that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD" or "I'd love to have a 8x10 print of ____.") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

2.If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

To grant a wish, message the person and get their info... and mail them their gift.

Once one of your wishes is granted... please edit your original post and cross it out or delete it. If it is for more than one item... (I would like funky socks!) you can keep it to get as many pairs as you would like!

Now.... what can we do for you??

The writers, and the producers would walk hand in hand, on Hollywood Ave., marching down the street praising with joy, and singing to that classic tune by Pink Floyd, "Money".

This of course is after they both have agreed to every measure on the table, swapped spit, grabbed ass, and bent over for a reach around.

Time of this wish to happen is on Thanks Giving day.

I would be thankful.

Okey If I could find a plain white tshirt on a shop, I would do a hand paint on one of them for you. I am not sure how cool it would be. Depending on amount of time I get I would do it. I hope you would wear a hand painted one.

I would like someone to take on the job of mentoring whiterook.

I would like:

My cats.
A shower and toilet closer than 100 yards across gravel.
A bath.
Pavement.
Not to wear a weapon at all times.
Reliable and at least dial up speed internet access.

But really, I'm not in need of anything at the moment. I do wish for our guys (and that includes our coalition guys) safe days and nights. And happy shooting (with a camera) to all!

My response to tee shirt posts:

I just like interesting and different ones. Cute, funny, hand painted, "theme" shirts, the Beatles, something I can't get in the US, anything.

THANX!!

wow - thank you for putting things in perspective, Deb. While James' ( rex) intent is admirable (as usual) AND I'm personally proud that he is continuing this tradition, your post hits home.

I can't do much about your local conditions, but I'm sure there must be SOME things you're missing from the states? PM sent, and Glenda & I sure hope you let us know what we CAN do. I've donated (and will continue to donate) my time & photography services to a LOT of local service members. We have also spent a few years overseas & realize how meaningful gifts from 'home' can be... Let us know, ok?

After those last 2 wish lists, it seems so selfish to post to this thread.

I wish (want and will) win 2+ more ribbons until the holidays of 2007 (I had to be specific which year)

(Edited to say, not to confuse with "new year wish" because it will be 10+ more for the year 2008 :P )
