I lived in southern Indiana for of my life, I watched Indy come and been cheering for them since day one. Like the other day I was at therapy and my instructor said you are going to work harder for wearing that Colts hat. I told him when the Colts were not doing anything..no one cared, now everyone hates them. Win or lose I still say

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COLTS!!!!!!

I'm a Cowboys fan but I also like the Colts (as far as AFC teams go) and I hope they whoop the Patriots. I hate the Pats more than any other team. Down w/ Shady Brady and Bill Belicheat!

Wow, did you just see Favre's overtime 82 yd bomb? Incredible!

Sorry for the threadjack, back to your regularly scheduled Patriots. :-)

I'm born and raised in Boston, living in Oakland, and man I cannot tell you enough: I PRAY that the Raiders don't sell out.

Stop threadjacking... nobody cares about Trinity (though that was a pretty sick play). Nobody cares about the Packers (they just won in OT with an 82-yd bomb (Favre also had a 79-yarder).

The topic is Pats vs Colts.

Pats have a chance to be the best team in the history of football. They're angry and they're not stopping until everyone is dead. They signed the top defensive player in the offseason and the Colts did nothing. They signed the top THREE WRs in the offseason, and the Colts LOST Stokley. They didn't have Seau, Harrison, or Seymour last time they played the Colts, and still almost squeaked out a win.

Times have changed and the Pats will destroy the Colts.

The Patriots will end this season as the best team in the history of the NFL. They'll hold a perfect record, the scoring crown, a top-7 defense, the greatest season for a QB, and another Super Bowl ring.

They're angry and they're not stopping until everyone is dead.

If you don't think that everyone else agrees with what I just wrote, then see this.

It's fact... wake up wannabes: the Colts won a Super Bowl, but they're NOT a dynasty.

Yea, in this era of football. The Pats of today are not better than the Cowboys of the Aikman Years, The 49ers of the Montana Years, or the Bears of 85 etc. Post-Salary cap, the Pats are great, Pre-Salary cap, they are good. It was a different game then, not as many rules and much more physical and difficult. Today's Pats would get slapped around against those teams.

And a 7-0 team averaging over 40 pts/game and a QB on a record-setting pace is NOT a "good football team"?

Yeah but look who the patriots played...MIAMI?? The only good teams the Pats beat was the Cowboys and the Redskins (and we know the redskins are questionable at best!!). The Colts have beaten all teams with winning records. This will be the biggest game of the REGULAR season...but this game on determines one thing...who gets home field advantage when the meet again in the AFC Finals. Neither team is going 16-0 because after they both clinch playoff berths they will begin to rest starters and will lose a game at some point (remember the colts a couple of years ago who went 13-0 before they lost?)

As for the Pats dismantling of the Redskins, I saw that as a mental message to the colts and trying to install fear. But you wouldn't need to try and scare a team if you weren't a little scared yourself. But at the same time the Pats haven't had to play a full game of hard football...they needed that practice. Because if you put up 35 in the half against the colts...the game ain't over, they can easily put up 35 quickly. With that said......

Go COLTS!!!!

i agree. i would love to see Tom Brady have to play against Jack Lambert and the rest of the "Steel Curtain" defense! he wouldn't stand a chance...lol.

You can all quote the stats as much as you like, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating so to say LOL. Whatever it should be (and I hope it will be) an exciting game between two great teams of athletes.

I'm not sure if this is true. Players now are a lot bigger and more physical across the board. Still, it's a point worthy of debate. I was a photographer for the Chargers back in the Steel Curtain days and that was an awesome team, no question about it.

I can't argue with any of that, but it wasn't my point anyway. I was just gently chiding cbeller, regarding "knowing what a good football team is"... The matchup between Patriots and Colts is going to be a fantastic show, and anyone who doesn't agree it's a matchup of two fine teams is just being contrary.

Go Giants!

I'd like to see the Colts win but I believe the Pats will win by 9.

Another blast from Foxsports writer Mark Kriegel

Seriously ... making this good vs evil?

Belichik is evil because he coaches too hard, videotapes... and drives the scores of the game up? Isn't that the point of this game... to score points and win?

Dungy is good because... he has "class". And the writer had to bring up his son's suicide??

Please... I can't wait to read this schmuck Monday morning.

Everyone is talking about how this will be Superbowl 41 and a half.
The TV networks are getting the same revenue for a 30 second spot in this game as they would in a Superbowl.

GO PATS!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. As a Cowboys fan living in Dallas in the early 90's I saw most every game. Now as a Patriots fan living in New England, I have seen every game, and I think this year's Patriots are a better team than the 90's Cowboys in every respect except at RB. Did you see the Miami game? I have never seen a half of football played as perfectly as the Patriots played the first half of that game. It almost brought a tear to the eye. I kind of got the feeling that I was watching something historic. The Cowboys never generated the same feeling.

I think the Colts will probably pull this one off.

On the topic of football away from this game. Is anyone here missing your favorite college teams that have games on the Big Ten Network? Today Wisconsin Vs Ohio St is on BTN. Problem is. Hardly any cable providers in Wisconsin carry the BTN. So unless you have Dish or one of the other sat services and or pay extra to add the channel, you are shit out of luck... Has the greed of the NFL, NBA and other Pro leagues finally run over into the College Levels? I think it sucks that we should have to pay extra to watch these games on TV especially since We just had a major Tax hike in Wisconsin to help fund the Universities. They want to have all the fun and want us to pay for it on both ends. They can keep their sports, I am boycotting until the Big Ten Network goes away. Which probably means I am done watching college sports forever. That sucks, but you have to draw a line somewhere or pretty soon they will charge you to wear the team logos when you want to support your teams.

now back to topic, Because I hate Randy Moss aka The Mossquito, I will throw a GO Colts! into the mix. However I do not care for Manning much either, My Hate for Randy Trumps.

Remember this guy,[thumb]608257[/thumb] I do, and I remember a lot of disappointing seasons. It’s been kinda nice having something to cheer about . I’m hoping for the game it’s hyped to be. But I’m for the team whose colors are red, white and blue….Go Pats
