I recently started using an apple computer, a macbook pro with OS v. 10.4.10 , and I have been having problems viewing photos in DPP (the free Canon software). I did not have any problems on a PC. The pics show up with a gray haze over them, sharply reduced in contrast. I did not have this problem originally. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all my canon software multiple times, and the problem keeps recurring. The photos are not corrupted, i can view them fine in other programs. Has anyone else had similar problem, or does anyone know of a solution?
Thanks for any help in advance. |

The OS v 10.4.10 is relatively new. The disk that came with your camera most likely pre-dates 10.4.10 and thus, your DPP isn't up to date with Apple's OS version. Because of this possibility, I suggest you go to the Canon web site and download the most recent DPP which should include an update to the most recent Apple programming. That failing, give canon a call, they've been really helpful with any problem I've had. |

I am using the DPP updater v 3.02 that is the most recent dl on the site. I've also tried calling, to no avail, but maybe I'll try again. |

Perhaps check the settings for color space and such to see if there may be a discrepancy there. This could cause inconsistencies.
