Hi, all!

I just wanted to make a quick announcement...

My little girl Emily was born yesterday at 6:30 PM, Pacific Standard Time. She weighed in at a hefty 10 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long. That's a lot of work for my little 100lb wife!

Anyway, I'll be posting pictures soon (I'm off to the hospital right now to take some!), but don't expect to see little newborn pictures - at 10 lbs, she looks like a baby that's 2 months old!

Congrats!! I know what you mean about the 2 month old...my son was 10lbs 12oz and 20.5inches long. They had to go to the pediactric ward to find diapers that fit cause newborn diapers only fit to 10lbs. LOL
How is your wife? I hope she's doing well! Congrats again.
Oh...here's my son about 30 seconds after he was born...

Fantastic! I thought this would have happened a couple of weeks ago when you ran off during the chat. Great news, and I hope all are doing fine!

Congrats! Way to slip one pass the goalie!

I had no clue they made babies that big, I feel a little queasy just thinking about it. I think I need a moment to myself, gather my thoughts, think about the future, schedule a hystorectomy...

Congrats StevePax and family. Wow that's a big baby! Ours is coming soon, maybe even this weekend. We suspect it will be big as well. My wife I'm sure is hoping it isn't that big.

Best of Luck and congratulations.

Hey Steve (et al.):

You guys are on your way to the most wonderous, exciting, rewarding, and simulataneously scary set of experiences you can imagine.

But I guarantee you this: your best shots are yet to come, and you'll likely be afraid to share them on the internet. So, I guess it is time to invest in a good screen saver (and a bigger hard drive.)

And, if my High School French doesn't fail me:
