| This is a great idea. I could really use a mentor, Not only to give advice but I think it would also give me more motivation to push the shutter button. |

| Thanks to everyone who has PM'd me. I am currently at work so will update the list this evening (I am on British Summer Time atm) when I get home. If there is anything wrong then please PM me so I can rectify it. Hopefully I will also be in a position to post a set of guidelines regarding the time you should agree to mentor/be mentored and also the basic run of the mill stuff like not voting on your `proteges` entry etc. |

Just saw this thread. I'd be glad to mentor.
My strengths are in landscape and outdoor photography using available light. I'm also very good at recognizing strong composition and wow factor.
I'd love to listen in on w/ DrAchoo's mentoring. |

So, if I want someone to mentor me, do I just PM them or PM Simms, or are the mentors choosing their apprentices? I'm a bit confused I think.....

Try p-ming the person you want to mentor you. They may be full already, but then you can try someone else or wait.

PM the mentor, if they have a space available they will getback to you, once you have agreed with the mentor, then one (or both) of you PM me and I'll update the list. I am trying to keep the list up-to-date as possible.

I appreciate all the PMs, but I went through and selected  MistyMucky and  doc_gonzo because their averages were lower than the other people who asked to come along.
We'll see how it goes with two. I'm planning on a four week escapade and might be able to brainstorm a way to open it up to a small group next time.

HEY! Someone needs to PM Mr_Pants a PM and ask for his mentorship the man has taught me so much about photoshop and lighting.. definately the silent master...
So you apprentices should go PM the man as he seldom reads the forums but is very willing to help others. |
