any chance of something like: photograph warm things, like the inside of a hot oven. It's -40 in my garage, I'm afraid my hand will freeze to the doorknob ...

Bundle up, run into the garage, grab the first thing you find, and see if it melts in your oven while you take pictures of it and warm up your hands at the same time!

I don't think you necessarily have to take the picture in the garage. It is just supposed to be like the Office Art challenge where you use objects that you might find in a garage that you compose in a ribbon-winning composition.

I'm scared to go in my garage. There's 18" of snow on the roof, I'm afraid it will collapse with me in it.............

Let's just say that it is structurally marginal.

I wonder if we will get any shots of sunsets, flowers, or water drops in this challenge.

I think we should ahve a challenge that specifically excludes shot like this bc I am damn tired of seeing them in EVERY challenge with tricky titles to make 'em fit!

Ahhhhh, feeling better... sorry about the rant in this thread but I had to...

Hey my garage has a west-facing window that could provide a beautiful view of a sunset if mother nature cooperates. Combined with the leak in the roof and the hardy mum that is still surviving out there, I think I can get all 3 of those in one shot! =]

Take a look here at what I see everyday! url is on photographers comments if you want to check the video version. We got up to a balmy 24 today. Its been below 20 for weeks.

I'm leaving for Denver this weekend and they are expecting snow while I'm there, but at least I get to take my 4yr old sledding there. (:

I'm in danger of getting heat stroke if I spend too much time in my garage. It was 80F in there at lunch time...

Seriously, I don't have the type of money it would take to own a garage around here.

I just spent the last couple hours shovelling over a foot of snow from my driveway! More to come! Dunno if I'll make it to the garage for this challenge!

atleast we don't have much snow 'yet'. ... the only crap we have is weeks and weeks old but the city won't plow anything so it just packs down and becomes a skating rink when it's -30. Great....better sharpen my skates and work on my double axles.

What we have to do " The Garageless People",sneak in someone'a garage and take pic?

Let's see who lives close to me.....

Maybe I can sneak in Everyday Rennee's garage,or Achiral, but I have to meke sure they have no Pitbulls home!

I may use it with the meaning of "automobile repair facility."

01/28/2004 04:36:34 PM · #24
Hey any of you guys/gals lend me a garage?? I promise to return it...

01/28/2004 07:15:26 PM · #25
My garage looks like the apocalypse. The one thing I ask myself here is, how can I have fun with this to get an entry ready?

*makes mental note* Wear work jeans, keep camera cover for in between shots and get blanket to cover beer fridge.
