He shoots under the name of Brooks Parkenridge.

Did anyone know this? Am I, as usual, several steps behind the rest of you fine people?

I found a few of his shots on line. Looks like he shoots with a Nikon.

No, he has a fondness for very large nude women.

He's only human...or vulcan. Or is he half-vulcan and half-human?

That's cool that he's a photog.

I worked his show once (Drew Careys) and in passing I asked him what he like to shoot.

He responded "Rabbits kid, I like to shoot rabbits!" And he walked off. I started to laugh as I walked off.

I have a bottle of water from his show that has his show "The Drew Carey Show" emblazoned on the bottle it self. A lot of shows have their own show names stamped on the water bottles now a days. Kind of a collectors item.

Anyone want to buy it? I too have lens envy.

PM me if you are interested.

Man, doesn't it EVER get old to keep the goofy Canon-Nikon wars going?

Reminds me of a joke, edited to fit here.

A Nikon owner and a Canon owner are sitting next to each other on a plane. They both kick off their shoes and relax into a debate over the two brands' relative merits. After some time, he Nikon owner, who's on the aisle, gets up to get a drink. He asks the Canon guy if he'd like one, and the Canon guy accepts. The Canon guy picks up the Nikon guy's shoes and spits in them before he returns. The Nikon guy comes back with the drinks, and they resume their discussion. Eventually they both tire of it.

Just before landing, the Nikon guy puts on his shoes and immediately knows what happened. "Ah," he says, "won't this rivalry ever stop? I mean, how long will we continue spitting in each other's shoes and pissing in each other's drinks?"

Yeah, the first time I heard that joke, it was the other way around--the Canon guy pissed in the Nikon's guy's drink. ;-)

Hmmmm, that's funny. He looks like a sports photog. Not that I have any idea what a sports photographer is "supposed" to look like. But if you asked me what I thought Drew Carey would be if he wasn't a comedian/actor/gameshow host, I'd probably say a Sports Photographer.

Now, Leonard Nimoy on the other hand... well that's a different story all together. :)

Not to burst any bubbles (or make you feel like you're behind the times) but Carey's been shooting sporting events for a few years now. SportsShooter had a brief write-up of it back in 2005 (link).

I love the show too but have always found the original British one much funnier.

Yeah, I like both of them...I haven't seen the earlier ones in a while though. Maybe they aren't playing them as much anymore?
