War, Inc. 9/10

Political Satire written by and starting John Cusack. I loved it - the one-liners were just flying. It was clever and cheesy - definitely a cult movie in the making.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall 4/10

Yawn, and yawn. The acting was tepid, so was the story. Full monty at the beginning and end - not pretty or necessary. And I'm no prude, mind you. Two hours I'll never get back.

Paris Je t'aime - 20 five minute films each set in one of the Parisian arrondissements and shot in 2 days. Some big name stars and directors took part. Some are funny, others romantic, scary or sad.

8.5/10

You gave it a 7? I don't even know if I'd go that high, I was really disapointed in it. I think it was the way they did all the special effects just too weird. I would have preferred the old school way of doing stuff.

Teeth - This a Campy horror/kinda comedy flick that wasnt that good at all--
The premise is a young woman has the ability to "cut off' sexual intruders.. It's pretty bad, skip this one..

Rating 4/10

The Onion Movie - Anyone familiar with the website should know what they are getting into-- I guess this movie was made a few years ago but never got to theaters, it was just released to DVD-- I found this movie to friggin hilarious, you have to love bad taste humor, but it is funny as hell if you do..

Rating 8/10

I can't watch a film in the theater in the summer... but found this on dvd the other day, quite different from the mainstream Asian movies.

Welcome to Dongmakgol (2005)

Rambo 6/10 - Everything I expected in the story and the dialog, but a bit more gore than usual. Realism is one thing, but this was more like the special effects team got some new gadgets and just went to town with them. Can't wait for Rambo VIII where he takes on abusive caretakers at the retirement home. I can see the opening scene that sparks the whole carnage - a young, abrasive intern comes in to do some blood tests on the 89 year old John Rambo. Rambo freaks out, dispatches the intern and goes on his rampage. At the end of the movie we hear Rambo saying "He drew first blood!"

The Orphanage (El Orfanato): 8/10

Pretty nifty ghost tale, with terrific acting and a sensible plot. More interesting than terrifying, but it has many suspenseful moments.

8/10 - 'Sex and the City', with a friend for my recent birthday, and I really enjoyed it very much.
A real girlie movie, but I was surprised to see quite a few men in the audience.
