Superbad 6/10

If I were still in highschool I'd probably have liked it more. The funniest part of the movie for me was when the girl at the ticket counter carded me thinking I was 17....I'm 24.

Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring 2001 (9/10)
(I don't get out much)

The Bourne Something

Pretty much like all the other Bourne movies...just one more notch over-the-top.

This weekend I saw:

London to Brighton I believe Paul Andrew Williams will show us some very good work in the future... acting could be better but overall a good movie 8/10.

Mr. Brooks Funny and entertaining thriller... 7/10.

Benny's Video Haneke's provoking as usual. Not it's best but quite good 8/10.

For tonight, another Haneke The 7th Continent. I'll vote on it tomorrow :)

Last movie at home - Anne of Green Gables: 11/10
Yes, Anne is a G-rated (I think) family movie from 1985, but wow, what a wonderful movie. Extraordinarily acted, moving and uplifting storyline, and beautiful scenery (too bad the transfer to the 2-sided DVD is subpar). Highly recommended for anyone, especially if you have kids.

Last movie in theater - Hairspray: 8/10
Very clever and humorous treatment of 1960's civil rights tribulations, great acting, awesome musical score, but a couple of questionable scenes for kids.

The Queen - 9

Helen Mirren was SO convincing I truly thought I was watching the 'real' Queen - meanwhile the actor who played Tony Blair did a pretty good job too - as did Prince Phillip.

Mummy Returns: 7/10.

It's funny, it's cheesy, it's got some brilliant acting like when Imhotep sees The Rock fall down the ravine thing and runs up, crouches, thrusts his arms out and shouts "NOOOOOO!!!". Man that's Oscar winning right there.

Hot Fuzz - 7/10 (better than shaun of the dead in my opinion)

Wild Hogs - 6/10 mildly amusing

Scrubs season 5 10/10.... yes i know it isnt technically a movie but its as funny as all get out. and yes our poor sorry butts are only up to season 5. :(

Once: 9/10

Not the kind a movie I normally watch but it was hard to resist it's charm. I highly recommend it.

Halloween Rated "R"

And it was awesome I love the Halloween movie and wanted to see this remake mainly because its Halloween but also because they do not make any horror movies like that anymore.

They all suck and are comedies now, but that Halloween movie by Rob Zombie was awesome.

Underdog...with the kiddos.

The Invasion

8/10 It dragged a little, but there were some great parts. And, compared to some other movies that have come out lately, it was pretty good.

Becoming Jane

10/10 Need I say more? :)

Cash Back:
British movie about how people deal with time, specifically an art student who is suffering from insomnia after a break up with his girlfriend. He discovered that he can stop time. Can't really say to much more without giving the whole movie away, but it was pretty damn good and very funny at times.

I would give it a 9/10.

The story is ammusing, the acting is pretty good, the concept is a hit, and there is TONS of gratuitous nudity (full frontal included)

I heard the exact opposite. A lot of people said he killed the suspense and just tried to make it as gory as possible. Thats what made the original so scary - was the JAWS like quality that Mike Myers had - you never knew when he was gonna strike, and he was just unstoppable.

Just saw The worlds fastest Indian on the weekend.

What a great movie, it would have to be a 9 out of 10. Certainly makes you feel like nothing should stop you from doing what you really want to do in life. Well worth a watch!
