except that not everyone has or wants to have access to itunes...

He can make the DVD available as well, but itune sales would be about 200 fold over traditional shipping distribution.

Hey guys, I've been working on the new DVD like mad between photoshoots over the last few weeks and I'll try to answer some questons for you.

The DVD will be available to own in it's material form (in a nice package this time) but also downloadable! I won't be using itunes, but a standalone within a website.

Sorry for the delay, I want to get this thing out as well. I can't say a date yet, but I do go away to the USA in a few weeks so I need to get it done and running before this. (Here I am saying "a few weeks, hurhurhur!" again).

In the disk, the lessons go over the main 'feature' technique of these, and a few more images (one is a magazine cover I can't put online yet.)

I'm going to have a deal for those who order it within the first week, as well as most likely a deal for those old-schoolers who bought the last disk. This is because there are repeated elements from the last disk, (I do not sell this one anymore) but do not fear- there are also tons of new techniques that I have developed. There are also many 'expansions' on the old techniques that save a lot of time and just look much cooler!

Basically the DVD is going to be a package containing a whole bunch of lessons and within the lessons, there will be 2-3 examples using different pictures. I found that by only using a few pictures in the last one, some information was lost and people weren't learning as much as they could.

I have been filming many of my photo shoots so there is also 'behind the scenes footage' so people can better understand the lighting. I use both studio flashes and standard reflectors. There are also drawn diagrams of the lights and explanation. I did this because a lot of the images I saw that people made with learning from my last disk looked edited well but not always lit so great.

One of the best reasons to get the package is going to be within a second disk. There will also be a data disk included of high res textures to use yourself and a load of actions you can load up to your Photoshop. There's also a little video on how you can cook up your own (literally) textures as a little experiment... ;-)

As for the price, nothing is decided yet because I want to wait until I'm done.

Anyway, thanks and wish me luck as I deprive myself of sleep to finish this up. It's sure showing in my voice narration that I'm slowly going crazy.

Put me down for one dood! (the dvd...not the t-shirt!)

Put me down for a package deal too. I bought the older one and thought it was great. I'm sure I'll be happy with the new one too.

As for technique requests, I just want to know the best way to get the over all blue hue (or any solid color) look to alot of your images yet balanced well with skin tones such as in these pics:

I always screw it up when I try. If that is not covered, I'd like that in.

Other than that, just rock on with your bad self. I'm lookin' forward to it.

Joey,

For those of us who can't get their hands on the original, will we be behind the eight ball if we got straight to the second?

Hey i think the added data disc is a great idea. A little bit of the brushes you use (if any) would be an idea, and maybe an inclusion of some of them on the disc itself.

But im looking forward to this- put my name down on the pre-order list if you're making one up.

Well, at least you know that we are interested.

And how about a special for me, since I started this thread ;) :)) I regretted not getting your first DVD, so I am looking forward to see what you will have in your next one.

Im regretting missing out on the first one too. I want in on the second as well! I hope its not just post processing but touch a bit on the whole setup for the shot as well.

Me too, me too...Do we really need to see the price when we know it'll be worth every penny?
Please let us know how to buy it!

Is the Benjamin Bates music video going to be on there as a bonus feature?
