I just upgraded to CS3. When processing my raw files I have noticed that it looks like there is a filter on my photo. I have opened up the same photo in CS and CS3 to compare and they are defiantly different. CD3 is not functioning like it should. Any ideas why this is happening. I would hate to have to convert all my file in CS and move then to CS3. Plus I can't use lightroom to export because they convert the raw files in CS3 also.

I think CS3 installs with adobe RGB (instead of sRGB) as default colorspace. Could this be your problem?

I am not sure, how would I check that?

In PS Edit > Color Settings

In ACR there's a link under the image showing what color settings it's using.

Look at the bottom of your screen during raw conversion, it's right there in the middle.

I checked that was not it, but thanks for the suggestion. Does anyone else have an idea of why it is doing this?

CS3 has a few new options for raw conversion. Are you adjusting the settings manually I hope, as opposed to using the "auto" settings?

I have not used the auto setting, it does not do a very good job. However the filter effect that I am seeing in CS3 is still there if I press the auto option.
