Post your favourite pictures from the 50 day challenge.

(I'll start with one from each of my five themes.)

I liked it enough to change my profile pic. ;-Þ I also liked my Three Wise Monkeys effort, and Day 11.

There were so many flowers in my cousin's garden when I visited Australia.

I like the detail and how the flash brought out his colours (which didn't show very well in the non-flash pictures).

The square crop hurt this a bit, but it's the bizarreness I like... (actually, most of my Red shots were kind of bizarre).

The lighting worked very well on this (on the subject at least; I had to paint out the black cloth it was resting on).

All of them.

"Diamonds are Forever" - Technically one of my best repetitive rhythm patterned images, during this side challenge.

"Darcy the Musician" - My best candid portrait, especially due to the lighting at the concert, and I also not that fond of taking people at anytime, unless they are family.

"The Gap"& "Red Thorns" - are my selection for best "macro" square crops, and I can't tell you why, but they just move me equally.

"Aussie Gold" - Definaltly the series of our Australian National flower, the "Golden Wattle", and this one is my favorite out of the six that I took that day ,as I love the DOF.

"Judd's Christening" - Our grandsons christening was such a special day, and I loved all of my photos of Judd, but this one takes pride of place in my heart.

It's been a great 50 Days, so much so that mine will be continuing for 365 days...

They'll be here

Here are my favs so far:

This is such a great image of what really happens in Korea, it may be technically flawed or not for everyone, but it really does show the place I live in.

Yet another slice of Korea... doctors here will condone drinking for most ailments as it is seen to help...

A little phase I'm having with cross-processing really makes me like this... plus it's another little bit of where I live.

Something about this hydrant... I've lived here for 15 months now... and I've only just taken it... but every day I've wanted to.

I've got a real passion for old messed up film prints and trying to emulate that in digital and I feel I did a reasonable job here.

Well, it's been a pleasure all, I've learned a lot and seen some great parts of the world through this, thank you all.

As I said, my blog will go for 365 days... keep on checking!

Happy Barney - who is still doing well!

Two of my little goobs...

Just worked out so well...

Because he posed...

It's been fun!

Thank you, David (Pug-H), what a good idea. I can't decide so I chose six for now.
Thanks again, everyone!

Alright, I stuck to 5, and I was very reluctant, but did so :(

And these are all based on person and "technical" merit, and the day 50 is per citymars suggestion, so Thank You, again... to everyone :)

I have so enjoyed this side challenge - the intimate nature of it, the length and getting to know a lot of you so well through your stories and photos. Thank you everyone for your comments!

Looking forward to seeing at least some of you in October.

-- I am a sucker for interesting shadows -- also, this was the one shot where I went, 'oh, great, HOW am I going to crop that square?' but ended up liking it better square than otherwise. So thank you, Rebecca, for making us do that.

-- this one really represents a big step out of my usual photographic comfort zone, and I like it for that reason. (not square, oops.)

-- because everyone was so nice about it. :)

-- because every time it pops up in my screensaver it still makes me kind of catch my breath a little. (different strokes for different folks, OK? :)

-- This guy is my desktop background and still, what, a week or two later, when I close out all my open programs and he pops up in front of me I squeal a little.

My fav five :)
This was my first experimenting with my new Photoshop, I liked how it turned out
I thought this turned out great in capturing Priness Pickles
I wish I could say I timed it so his head was in the little square, but that was just luck :)
This one reminds me of how happy I was at that moment to be done with summer school
Finally, this one actually makes me a little sad because I was there in Florida taking picture this time last week & now I'm back at work, it's never fun to come back form vacation

Not in any real order here:
- Never had taken the time to really try a different angle with flowers.
- For the funny factor.
- The intense look makes me laugh everytime I see it.
- Because I FINALLY caught a cat yawn!
- This will bring back good memories of vacation :)
- Wish I could've used something like this for the wing challenge!

I had alot of fun with this challenge, it made you take notice of the little things around you. Plus it was really neat to take a peek into everyone's busy lives!
I'll be joining in the October challenge hopefully!

This was really fun!

-because I've always wanted to take a picture of a field of yellow flowers

-I just really like how this came out for some reason

-because it's funny that I'm STILL reading that book

-I like the color, esp. the color of the drink, and her expression.

-I like how the table cloth the butterfly is on also has texture, also dead bugs kind of creep me out so it was hard to make myself get close enough to take the picture.

This sort of sums up where I live. I love these old roads.

A tribute to Chris and a huge YEAH THE JEEP WORKS!

I love my long drives and the adventures along the way.

One of the best days I have had for a very long time.

Probably the most realistic and down to earth of all my 50 day photos.
