Can you tell if any of these are poison ivy? I won't know for sure for a day or so via the rash I'll get on my feet.

I'm not allergic to it, so I never pay attention. I've always heard, though, "Leaves of three, leave it be." or something like that.

I don't know for sure either, but I wouldn't touch it. The ones that have 3 leaves scare me.

Looks like the ick to me.

None of it is poison ivy.I was extremely alergic to it growing up. I would get it head-to-toe and basically sit around and itch for weeks, sad huh?

Anyway, poison ivy leaves look like they have a thumb coming off each side. Trust me, I have PI radar.

Phew... I prefer your answer, thanks! I've had it horribly a few times, but never really seen it other than drawn diagrams.

Thanks for saying the magic words, "Poison Ivy," putting it at the front of my mind again.

Not all poison ivy has 'thumbs' growing off the sides. Young leaves often don't have notched leaves.

If your feet start itching and you get a rash...it's poison ivy.

Poison Ivy normally has 2 distinctive characteristics:

1. 3 leaves
2. Red Veins

From the look of the photos, you do not have PI

The problem with poison ivy is that it's so variable. It sometimes has red leaves, sometimes has red veins, sometimes is a bush, sometimes is a vine ...

But it always has exactly three leaves on a stem, and it never has thorns as far as I know (blackberry and raspberry leaves often look similar, but have thorns).

That said, I think that's some kind of normal vine. I can't quite put my thumb on why, though.

But avoiding it definitely best. :)

And whatever you do, don't burn it. Inhaling the smoke can be fatal.

look for red stems... and the three leaves, of course. these look okey-dokey to me too!

Slippy,

To make sure it isn't poison ivy, roll some of it up and place under your tongue. In a very short amount of time you'll know if its poison ivy or not.

Trust me, I am not a doctor and have no vested interest in any type of expensive poison ivy cure- that you know of.

To quote one of the entries in a humor contest to give spectacularly bad advice: "leaves of three, good TP."

That's definitely NOT poison ivy, however that plant commonly grows in the same area and the background leaves at far right in the last photo could be.
