I also love to shift colors around to (hopefully) add to the abstractness and evocative nature of the image. The image details for this one contains links to another version and a resized original.

Just a shot from the car. I'll come up with better ideas as the month goes on. I'm vowing not to use any photos that were shot any day other than the current one, according to my time zone. I didn't read the other thread, so maybe that's what everyone's doing :p

Just playing around. Never used a draganizer action before...I like it...went heavy with it but I think it is cool.

I don't think it matters -- I think you can submit any photo you take this month which has blur as a compositional element.
There can be discussion here, and some photos may later be copied to another thread for a more "in-depth discussion" of some kind. |

I hope people dont mind that I am not doing this strictly as a pic a day. I know I will go through spurts of posting so some days I will post several while other days I will post nothing. I am having fun with this experiment. Definitely a step out of my usual comfort zone and yet it still feels very nice. |

The forest and the tree.
This impression of a large Douglas fir tree resulted from panning the camera up the trunk -- it took a fair number of tries to get a smooth result and reasonable exposure.
Nikon D200, 50 mm f1.4 lens, 0.4 sec, f/1.4
