This is the image that I submit into the challenge:

This is the image that I was considering:

After I submit the photograph that I did I learnt that it looks different on others' computers. Apparently my monitor doesn't really portray the correct colours. Guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Couple of outtakes. First time I've ever shot anything like this, so I was happy with the result of my entry. At the same time, it looks like smashing the neatimage levels to the right would have been a more effective approach.

On a different note, I am amazed at the amount of DQ's due to text being added. This is such a basic rule!! Are the people who have done this new?? I haven't been with DPC that long but that was one rule that was easy to remember.

There was like 3? Not too many. Everybody and their gramma has done Natural Light Portraits, I'd assume this challenge just brought a few people out of the woodworks that didn't bother to read the rules. I'd also bet that if SC did more validations that quite a few more would suffer DQ from date violations.

4 out of 6 DQ's were for text. You may be right about ones who dont enter very often and who suddenly saw a challenge they liked.
