| does anybody know anything about the supposed nikon dslr that is supposed to compete with the rebel? I briefly heard about it, but i cannot find any info on it. I want to buy it as soon as i can... is it even going to come out? |

Doesn't say much about the details. We should know more at the next PMA trade show. I see they're coming out with a 10.5mm Fish eye lens, too.

It is a D70, the details might be announced at PMA.
The only thing Nikon announced is that they are working on it, they haven't given any details yet. I think it will be in the shops in August if not December.
