Can you contact one of those map originators on DPC and find out what coding they used.

Thanks. Working on it. (eta: but it's incredibly slow at the moment)

The server started responding at last.

dpcperegrine map I hope it works now - but I'm not sure how secure it is from reprobates who want to play around with it and post/delete their own markers.

It would be good if you could link the photos you've posted on dpc.

I have added mine. It wouldn't accept links from DPC. I had to reload the images to the map.

You got one right - the sunset at the dam. You just need to copy and paste the photo's dpc url into the link spot, and then your name becomes a clickable link (default is back to the map itself).

I'm sure that I can include something appropriate and along those lines. I don't know exactly what yet but I will when I come across the idea. I'll make it good.

I sent a PM with my address to xianart this morning. Definitely looking forward to hosting Peregrine and about 15 DPC'ers on this GTG.

I know that Peregrine has left Australia, but I also know that he is going to want to come back to paradise and have a real blokes holiday - he must be getting fed up doing girly things like going to 'nature spots'. I'm sure he wants to surf, score with the beach babes, have a prawn on the barbie and suck a tinnie with Johno, Davo and the rest of the lads.

Please put me on the list - we have prepared the guest room for him and got in some Tiger food (hot, hot, hot Indian).

Apparently we will also taking him skydiving.

I hope so, but what happened to yakatme?

I hope the little guy is not lost in translation...
I found this too much fun! And even though it seems it will take more than a year for "Peregrine" get to me, can you add me in the hosts list too?

Any news?

Oh no.....little Peregrine is lost! I think we need a 'Where's Peregrine?' challenge!

What do you all say?

I say yay to a "Where's Peregrine" challenge - and to remind everyone what he looks like, here he is in Norfolk:

"Where's yakatme?" would also be apt, I think.

Peregrine made it here the day after the GTG ended. That was a little disappointing since he missed the opportunity to get some great shots with a bunch of other DPC'ers.

He's been to the beach, Ocean Drive, hanging out by the lake with our Boxer, riding a Lamborghini, and kite surfing.

I'll post some pics when I get the time and get him to his next destination as soon as I get the address.

Sorry for disappearing and for the delay in keeping up with this thread. A lot has been going on here.

edit to add: I just PM'd macleodn for his address and I'll get Peregrine on his way this week.

Good to hear that peregrine is still enjoying his travels and hasn't met an untimely demise - looking forward to seeing the photos, yakatme.

So no Peregrine?
12/29/2007 06:49:05 PM · #124
I haven't heard from him or seen him yet. I assumed he wasn't coming.
