The little bird with the red on the head is a Redpole. It is one the many varieties of Finches and is often seen with Goldfinches and Pine Siskins. Those are nice photos.

Joan & Anne -

Here are some of my birdfeeder photos. They're not as good as yours, but the birds are fun to look at anyhow.

Enjoy!

Nice - I suspect that your Cedar Waxwing is actually a female Cardinal. We have several pairs and they are beginning to get noisy even though Spring is far away.

wkmen,

Those are very nice bird photos. I really enjoyed looking at them.

I think Anne is right about the one labeled as Cedar Waxwing being a female Cardinal. That red beak is a dead give away to a Cardinal. The Cedar Waxwing has a black beak.

Thanks for post the link to your photos.

Wonderful! I love birds - and really enjoyed learning a new one! Your 'at the feeder' shots are just great.

I like your bird pictures! I cant believe you got 6 in one shot, thats true patience and bird watching! I like to try and take them too but usally I spot them and and get ready to take the picture and my 3 year old or one of my cats always scares them away.
