has anyone heard of 199webpages.com? I like the price=$199.00 a year with no hidden fees. I have looked at smug mug, but it ain't ringing no bells in my head for me.

You might try bluehost for your server. Great price with lots of options, though you'll need to build your own site.

That seems kind of high if it's just a server. I use dreamhost personally; they're reliable and I have more than enough space and bandwidth with their basic plan.

I suggest going to a hosting site that you can have complete control over, including e-commerce. inmotionhosting.com is pretty good. I use them. They received some high marks on a couple review sites. Search for it on zdnet.com to get a discount.

I can honestly recommend Lunar Pages....I have been with them for 18 months and the package has more than I need and the only one to offer certain features. Their help desk is terrific and fast. Go and check them out.

Did.... inmotionhosting.com

Just don't pick their cheapest plan. I use the power plan because it offers more SQL databases, which you'll need if you want to load up on their fantastico scrips. You can always add your own too.

I have 2 sites with Godaddy.com and I love them. You have full control over what you do and what you want. I have the deluxe package with ASP. I don't remember what I paid for it but I know it wasn't over $150.00.

I pay like $8 a month for one and 4 a month for my other.

It's going together pretty well... learning curve hasn't been that steep.

I'll second that motion. Judi turned me on to LunarPages a couple of weeks ago, and so far it's been awesome. I've only used it for some personal/work related images, but the setup is very easy - and they have a lot of features that I hope to be using soon!

Note: if you sign up... make sure to ask Judi for her partner link. That way she'll get credit for the referral :O)

Using that link she provided will give her credit.

I've been with them for over 2 years. I should've switched when I had the chance. They're ok when things are working but I've had to suffer through a few periods of downtime (including last month).

Search through WHT for feedback on other hosts.

not sure if it is everything you need but I love mine. Any time I have question or problems (and trust me, I've created many problems) they have been quick to help, even when I've missed my annual renewal they were nice enough to wait till I got paid.
