Somebody asked me about how I keep my lens clean with the reverse 50mm macro trick. I don't ::grin:: You have to get so close to your subject that you are almost guaranteed to accidentally hit it with the lens every once in awhile, but pollen is big enough to notice through the viewfinder and usually can be blown off between shots, anyway. I've gotten into the habit of turning the camera around and checking for polen every few shots. Then I clean both lenses fore and aft after I'm done with the shoot.
Still very new at this, though, so maybe someone has a better method for keeping things clean in the first place. |

This one is a big change for me. I'm trying to "lighten up"! I noticed most of my images are bright colors with dark backgrounds. Trying for a little diversity...lol |

Thanks...here it is. Whats bothering me is the white whateveritis on the bottom right of the image. Everything I have tried is too "pixely" and stands out.

Does this help?
I burned out the shape with the healing brush tool in CS2, borrowing from the darker areas. I made a loose selection of the lower right hot flowers, made a selective color layer, and altered the white range with more magenta and a hint of cyan and black to get rid of the hot spots.

Very nice edit. I was hoping there was a way to get rid of that "white finger" - maybe cover it with pink flowers. I took this at the fair and had to zoom in so I couldn't get that white thing out of frame.

You mean like this? More healing brush, in many small borrowings.
