Is it possible to read the comments already made (if any) on my last challenge submission or do I have to wait until voting ends at the weekend?

Click on Preferences in the menu bar above, and check the box for "Current Challenge Statistic," then click the save button. Your current score and the number of comments you have will now be displayed on your home page, and clicking on the number of comments will display them.

Thanks :-)

If I had it to do over, I would have cropped out the pole. The lines would have stayed though. At the time, though, I was working with a 1 megapixel camera, so I had a lot less room to work with.

Oh sweet, I didn''t notice you switched to a Dimage 7. Is it the 7 or the 7i? 7i was a slightly updated version. How do you like it? I recommended the 5 to a friend and he really liked it when he got it. Haven''t talked to him in a while. I was thinking of getting that camera because of the seperate focus and zoom rings and the extra focal length. I really hate the focus buttons on my camera. I hope to be getting the new FinePix S602 Zoom Digital Camera which has a focus ring.

(Did you hear that Drew? You''ll have to add that to the menu of cameras! :) )

Cheers.

The camera I got is the DiMage 7, and I love it. I got it in April, shortly before the 7i came out. I knew that the 7i was coming, but the enhancements were not enough to make me wait.

As for the camera itself, I absolutely love it. I'm amazed at how quickly I've become comfortable operating it semi-manually or manually, and the camera offers a lot of flexibility in shooting.

The main complaint I've read is that this camera chews through batteries quickly, and I was having a problem with that until I replaced my charged. Once I upgraded to a negative-pulse rapid charger, my battery life issues went away. That said, it is a good idea to carry several sets of batteries with this camera if you plan to do extensive shooting.
