Sea (not land)Challenge Details: Show us your best seascape shot from a coastal area. Open water should be the prominent feature in your image. Such land as is shown should be "framing" or "anchoring" the water.

Land (not sea)Challenge Details: Show us your best landscape shot from an inland area. No oceans or giant lakes for this one.

So where do waterfalls fit in?

Waterfalls would be a part of the Landscape if they're inland and don't fall into the sea or a giant lake.

I leave on a Carribean cruise on Saturday. :)

I might just have to cough up the cash for an hour at their Internet cafe because I have a feeling I might just get a good seascape!

I'd take a laptop if you have one and get everything done on that. Save photos, clear the card and save your finished version on the card or burn it since the computer may not have USB, but will likely have a cd drive. I have found on vacations, any computer around is slow. Enjoy your trip!

The cow-flap. They won't fit in the cat-flap.

(Which reminds me that my uncle made a cat-flap and a dog-flap in the same door...)

Why could this not have been week 1 of the playoffs? :)

Looks like I'm gonna have to fill the car up with gas this weekend...

Arrrghhhh..... Sea... open sea.... land only anchoring the shot....
I live 5 minutes from the ocean. Easy challenge, right?
WRONGGGG! Our part of the island is tucked down into the curve of the Olympic Peninsula, so we look across 20 miles of ocean to some foreign country.
Hmmm.... maybe I could nuke it to get it out of the shot? ;)

Most seascapes will have a sun in them, could be an advantage. I'm surrounded by water here, and land is all taken!

This is a bit unfair on those of us in the North of England. Most of our land is presently submerged under a large expanse of water.

How about Nagaria Fall? the two sides cand be the anchor for the water.
I think water fall can be both!

I think he means North England as the country of England, not New England. But then again, I could be wrong :p

Yes, following 48 hours of solid rain, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire have suffered the worst flooding for many, many years. Several people have drowned, tens of thousands of properties have been affected, and travel has been a bit of a nightmare.

Why does one say "member" and the other say "Open?" Shouldn't they both be "Open?"

I just filled the car and took a drive over to the beach on Lake Huron....yesterday!

Yep I meant England the country. The streets next to us are under 3 feet of water !! I thought about going out taking flood shots but in this area there is no dramatic stuff or rescues - just people who have lost their homes and belongings, and somehow it didn't seem right.
