I think the fact that most of the dpl teams are out the entries are down. I almost need a break myself. I do like sifi and I'm glad to see another expert editing even though I'm no good!lol

only 65 entries?
I have noticed this with many of the expert editing ones. This may also fall into that whole free study is due at the end of this week also thing.

I entered but I'm not too excited about my entry. I had one idea and it didn't turn out that way

Still working on mine. I'm trying to keep it photographic but it looks almost more arty.

I know what you mean, I spent a good deal of time working on mine to try and keep it looking photographic. Grat challenge though!

If your original image truly is a TIF then it's fine. It isn't the format, it's whether it's straight out of your camera and has original EXIF data available. You can ask SC for validation ahead of time if you want (although we're getting close to the deadline).

Okay, I'm entering mine now, but I combined two photos taken on different days... what do I put for date of exposure and exposure information?? This is my first attempt at expert editing.

Well, I went ahead and put down the camera date and EXIF data for the photo that I felt dominates the most in my entry, hope thats fine for the info.

is everyone entering all the images used for this challenge so it can be validated???
06/28/2007 09:15:02 PM · #85
I didn't, I don't see why it would be needed given the rule set.
06/28/2007 09:40:30 PM · #86
Well, I did a completely new one. Not sure how it will do but after three hours of non-stop working, I'll be damned if I'm not going to enter it.

And for the former question about artistic brushes: I had one I had downloaded of something that was created from a famous movie character. Because it was considered graphics and not created by me(read the expert rules) they said it was illegal. I checked with SC earlier in the week.

I am going to really enjoy the creativity of this. It's gonna be fun. Good luck to all.
