Give us an idea what you dislike the most or are the most disapointed about in your camera.

For me it's the 3 sec. max. exposure on the S602z. What were they thinking for a prosumer camera? Corrected with new S7000, which has 15 sec. max. Doh!

EDIT
found out a few months later you can have 15 ec exposure on full manual mode

I love my camera. If it were a man I'd marry it! Just kidding.

The one thing I most recently discovered was that I can;t take panoramic shots on it. There is a panoramic function that allows me to take layered shots that can be stiched together by the software it came with but this process is not DPC legal, which sucks bug time!

But who cares! I still love my camera!

For the C-750, I have to switch to manual focus for distance shots if the subject is small or low-contrast - its performance in this respect is worse than the C-700.

Does that mean that cameras are female. I'd have thought the opposite, especially with the zoom lens on mine. (phnar, phnar.)

My minolta takes over 2 seconds to autofocus in good light sometimes. The buffer speed when writing .tiffs and .raw files is so slow - up to a minute at times. The colours and the contrast need a little saturation help, as they're not very rich. And the straps and buttons could have been arranged differently.

Other than that, I'd recommend the dimage 7hi to anyone. Except that it had a limited production of 3000.

The lens fogging up when the camera is on for awhile and the slow start up time.

memory stick media :(

Macro that sucks, under-powered zoom, no control over focus, no direct control of aperature or shutter, AA bateries...

Those memory sticks sony cameras use do suck.

This thread mede me remember one thing a photographer ones said about the Canon eos 1v.

"The only thing wrong with the camera is that it doesn't walk by it self"

Well...they don't suck that bad. I just wished that they made a 512mb stick that I could use and more cameras like a canon 300D could use them so I don't have to dish out more money.

Dust. Other than that, the freakin thing rox. It's built so well that you could drive nails with the thing!

I prefer the smaller sized sticks. They're easy to change and reload and cost less to replace when lost.

BTW, my old cam was an S85. I've managed to take fantastic landscapes with it, something I cannot reproduce with the F717 (something to do with the calibration of the S85).

its not that memory sticks suck or ne thing like that, actually, i find them to be quite reliable, its just the fact that they only work with sony products and are more expensive than other memory types.

my biggest beef with my camera is that it doesn't tell me where to point it for a good pitcher.

The Fuji FinePix 3800 (and similar cameras, S602Z,S5000 and S7000) has an electronic viewfinder which isn't as crisp and clear as an optical and is almost useless in low light.

Also the maximum exposure of 4 seconds, only available in Night Shot mode. Manual mode never seems to go longer than 1/2 a second.

And there's the lack of any real manual functions anyway (auto focus only, 3 selections for aperature and no manual shutter selection.)

But I still love the 3800 and I knew about those downsides and figured if I wanted to do any real long exposures, I'd just use my old Canon AE-1 35mm. But that recently jammed up.

My camera is built like a tank. It's slow but I can live with that. Just wish it was 5-6 mp so I could get larger prints from it.

Biggest beef with the V1 is barrel distortion at wide angle. I Hate this!!!!

they released a 2x128Mb that will give you around 150 photos on a single memory stick with your dsc-s85 at full 4MP fine
