| My camera is dead. RIP. Uh, my Koday Easyshare DX6490 just up and died last week. It won't power on with the adapter or the dock and put in a brand new battery. It still didn't turn on. I'm almost positive it did not get wet or fall and the nearest photo repair store is an hour and a half away from me and I don't feel like paying 60 dollars just for Best Buy to tell me what is wrong with it. Does anyone know what may have caused this tragedy to happen? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks. |

| Sure, low-end electronics are designed to fail. At $160 for a new one, it would be cost prohibitive to diagnose and/or fix the problem. |

| I would write kodak about it. The one good thing about there company is they have awesome customer service. Who knows what they will say. they suprised me before... |
