I keep hearing on the threads here that even the best shots get ones and twos during voting. Well I found 3 shots that I did that did NOT get ones! I even have 2 shots that didn't get a one OR a two...

Anybody have more than two without ones or twos? Anybody got a no one, two or THREE???
12/10/2003 09:02:03 AM · #2
I only have one with no ones or twos. It has no tens either; at least everyone agrees it is a mediocre shot!

Interestingly, the winner of first place for Soft Focus has no ones, twos, or threes; second place has no ones or twos, but 1 three; and third place has no ones, but 1 two and 1 three.

I only have one too. This one kind of surprized me. I consider many others of mine as better.

Yup, I have a few no-1s:

... no 1s or 2s:

a_berenguer - you need to click the little icon on the far right above your forum reply text and then add the number that is at the end of your portfolio entry.

Five shots with no 1's or 2's, but unfortunately none with no 1's, 2's, or 3's. It was certainly interesting to see which ones didnt compared to the others as I would say most of these do not make my own personal top 10 list.

Wondering if one of you can help. I'm wanting to post the thumbnails here of the photos of mine that haven't received 1's. I read the tutorial in the forums on doing this, but still a little confused. I know what the url is to the page of my full size image, but it asks for the url of the page of the thumbnail image. Is that the page that has All my thumbnail photos in my portfolio? I wouldn't think so, but maybe I'm wrong. Can someone help me with this by explaining how I can get these thumbnails posted here, I'm still fairly new to all this...thanks!

Simplicity: When you post a message to the forum there are 5 icons above the text box. The one on the right is the thumbnail icon, you have to write the ID number of your photo there and it will post your thumbnail with a link to the original automatically.

I believe it has been changed since the tutorial. Go to the page of your picture and it should have a number in the URL associated with it. Remember that number(s) and then when you reply to the thread and are writing your message there are 5 buttons above the box. If you move your mouse over the buttons it will pop up a small box that tells you what they are. You want the last button that has "Insert thumbnail link to site image". Click on that and you'll get a small popup window that will ask you to input the number you had remembered earlier. You need to do that as many times as you have thumbnails as it only does one at a time. It'll put some BBcode into the message, but when you preview or post it the thumbnails will show.

Thanks vadvirag & moodville, for the help! Hopefully this works for me. That is much easier than trying it the old way as posted in the tutorial.

I only have 3 photos that received no 1's, but thought I'd go ahead and post them here.

Congrats Konador! That's wonderful, and a great photo at that, terrific color. What challenge was that entered in? It doesn't show on your page.

Okay, I get it now, Konador...only a portfolio shot. Although it is a nice one, you got me on that one. I was confused as to why it didn't show any challenge results. Still a good photo anyway.
