Flickr member Dala3 seems to have a rather large number of images in her portfolio, many with a note underneath saying not by her. (why would they be in her portfolio anyway??)

One image, I seem to remember here on DPC, but don't have the time to go looking,
and have no idea if she was the owner or not here on DPC.

Here is another familiar shot:

Just thought some may want to go look around her portfolio. I know she snagged a couple of Judi's too:
Judi's Portfolio (note the comments on her first 2 pics)

AH - I thought I commented on the first one:

Definately a borowed shot by the Flickr user, and no comment was made that it wasn't her image nor link to the original here.

There's a Konador and TCGuru shot, but they are both credited.

I'd think she's being reasonable. People could send her polite PM's asking her to take them down if they want, but I doubt you have any legal recourse as she's not making any money and she is crediting the photog.

EDIT: I didn't see her "photoshop" portfolio which seems to do a much worse job of crediting people although she does say they weren't taken by her...

I recognized at least 3 others. :-/

There are a lot of shots there that I definitely recognize as being from DPC.

edit to add: I'm up to over a dozen already.

Man, I'm really pissed off about it. Not only about the fact she used one of my pics, but she even edited it in a ugly way. I left a comment and reported it.

I left a comment on mine too thanking everyone for the comments of "amazing shot" hehe. I'm actually not that annoyed, its the first time someone's stolen one of my pics (that I'm aware of) so it feels quite good actually, lol, especially since I was luckily given credit!

I like her section of photos that she admits are not her photos, but that she had "photoshopped" them. Her definition of "photoshopped" seems to be removing the border that was on the original.

One teeny tiny thing missing though:
Getting Permission!

@Konador: She should at least ask permission and mention the name of the photographer. That's why I'm pissed off. She didn't do both.

ETA: She is, for some reason, claiming to be doing all of the post processing on those though :(

04/12/2007 04:10:30 PM · #23
Are you sure nobody has borrowed your work??
Lots of photo websites out there.

Nobody would want my crap, lol!
