Yes - it was Cord. Most everytime I have gone there I wasted the trip. Didnt have what I called them about or went home with the wrong thing. Very frustrating.

I find they do not know as much about cameras as they claim, atleast our local one here in Newark (well, they are in Heath)

If you've never been, check out Midwest Photo Exchange in Clintonville Mpex.com.
They might have inconvenient hours but are VERY knowledable and geared more towards the pro.

Hello guys! I hope everyone made it home safe and sound. Let me be the first to say thank you for coming out. We had a blast! Beautiful day, entertaining company and just a good time all around. Waving to you guys today from Lewis Center, Ohio!

Those look like fun pics Tim. With all the lake pics Tate has done, I guess I am not surprised you got one of him in the water lol. (Great shot BTW)

Maybe someone will consider doing something in the Fall with the change in season? :D

Cannot wait to see more. Seems like you all had a great time!

Nice capture Tim. OK, here I talked about this GTG for weeks then didn't make it. Our family had a late night the night before (out and about) 11:30 my 2 and 4 year olds went to bed late. Then my two year old was up most of that night due to the disruption and schedule change. Looks like a great time thanks for the picks buckeye fan and Tim. Ah next time.

Y'all did some fine work - my favorite part of GTG's is NOT challenge entry shots, but those of the folks who were there. I love getting the chance to see other DPC'ers. As suspected, it seems metatate is a bit on the insane side... :-) Thanks for sharing your day with us!

these shots of that stream in ohio remind me of when i was a kid growing up there. I lived close to old man's cave and swam in 'cricks' like that one. Looks like so much fun. omg, the memories this brings back. And those pictures are great, y'all look like a bunch of my relatives.

I'd love to hear about the RUDE family lol.

They just decided that it would be a whole lot easier just to park any old place, such as right at the very top of the trail where it was pretty obvious that people weren't supposed to park.

It was rather ironic that perfectly legal parking was available no more than 100 feet away, and that they were parking apparently for the purpose of going on a hike.

It just sparked a conversation about how rude and ridiculous people can be. It wouldn't have surprised us if they had just continued driving, right through the woods.

I really wish they would've heard what you said about them! :)
Although it would've been hard to decide whether or not to help you fight them or to shoot it!

Excellent photos, was great fun. Here are a few.
It was raining bokehs.

Three methods of creating HDRs using Photomatix and 9 separate exposures. 4-5 more to be processed. (if 1st 2 are same I'll update it later.)
