Well im still working on the exact equation that would equal the offset in the scores. Kind of hard todo when your missing the legitamte data also. Maybe theyll announce it.

They didn't take enough of the bad ones away, though. And it looks like people were so grumpy about it today that their foul moods spilled over to my Still score, too. :P

Yep. It's the same formula originally used for the 2004 April Fools hoax.

The scores on the leftbox are normally calculated as (Sum of votes)/(Count of votes).

For April Fools, they were calculated as (Sum of Votes + Hour of Day)/(Count of votes + Hour of Day).

The effect of this is that it looks like you got a vote of 1, every hour on the hour, starting at 1:00 AM. In reality, no changes were ever made to the database at all.

Cheers :)

Let's go back to the trick scores. At least then I wouldn't have to acknowledge my current real scores. :P

Work of an Evil Genius!

All the possibilities I had considered were yielding a higher score than I eventually had at rollover :(

Still, thanks for the laughs :)

I for one think the person who gave me a 1 and said DNMC should be taken out and shot. It's a flippin' FREE STUDY. By virtue of the fact that it's a photo that I took during the designated time allotted, it fits the challenge criteria.
