A reminder to all that when you view your profile there is the little link at, "comments recieved" this is a great way to see if you have recieved anymore comments on your images.

I just realized it a couple of weeks ago. ;}

Thanks, didn't know about that one.

You'll especially want to check that link if you've requested a critique on your entry. Although there are still too many requests for all to be satisfied, the Critique Club has been a lot more active the last couple of weeks so be sure to check.

I also periodically check the menu item Photos>Browse. By default, that displays the 16 most-recently commented-on photos. I'm often interested in seeing what someone said about one of the other photos as well.

What's funny is that one of mine shows up there, it takes a moment to recognize it ....

JC, doesn't that assume you can remember how many comments you had on each shot at the end of each challenge? Or am I missing something. (I'd love a mechanism for alerting you when you've received comments on a photo outside the challenge voting period. It would be sooooo easy...)

It would be really nice if people would check. I've spent many hours commenting and I have the strange impression that the photographers didn't even read the comments.

If you click on the number after comments recieved, they will pop up in time order starting with the most recent. Go back through and you'll see recent comments. I found a comment from dsidwell on one of my portfolio pics that I never even talked about in the forums or anything. I was impressed!

nope as TooCool said, it will show you your most recently recieved comment. I now go to my profile when I first log and and give it a click, sometimes I'm pleasently suprised to find some one has been cruising my portfolio and took the time to stop and comment.

Or one of my requests for CC comment has been granted! As it happend today.

I have a question and don't know where to post it.

I just voted on a picture in Scents And Aromas, and gave a wrong number in voting. I even commented. I didn't look, and didn't notice I'd hit the wrong key until it was there. Is there anyway we can change a vote?? I meant to leave a 5 and hit 3.:(

oops! I just noticed the heading for this thread. Sorry. This didn't belong here, but maybe someone will answer anyway.

Yes, just go back and change your vote. If you voted a 7 bring up the shot, and just click the 8,9 or 10.

Justine, thank you. Now I have to find it. :) All I can see are the "unrated" images. I'll find it. I feel so much better now.

Duh! The "or am I missing something" was the key. :) I thought you were talking about the number of comments shown for each shot in the table. Now I get it. Thanks for the tip.
