wow i must be out of it, there are a lot of those bands i have not even heard of.

i am an 80's child, so back then i loved poison and motley crew. 90's was nirvana, pearl jam, mother love bone and soundgarden. nowadays i am into linkin park, korn and saind. also like some hip hop like sean paul and nelly.

Excellent selections John. I'd add Jean Michel Jarre as one of my favorite "Electronica" artists. We're going to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra on December 20th; looking forward to it a lot.

I pretty much like everything, except for Country, Bluegrass, Jazz, Blues and Opera (although there are exceptions). Other than that, just about anything goes! I love 80's music. Also like techno, new-age, dance, rock. It all depends on what I'm in the mood for!

You have pretty good taste there, Miah. Some of my faves:

First up, my favorite Seattle/NW bands:
The Blood Brothers, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Shins, The Catheters, Akimbo, The Divorce, Death Cab for Cutie, Jimi Hendrix, The Fire Theft, Sunny Day Real Estate, Built to Spill, Modest Mouse, 764-Hero, Magic Magicians, Himsa, The Long Winters, Hot Hot Heat, and too many other great, unkown Pacific Northwest bands.

Others bands I suggest you check out(if you don't know them already):
400 Blows, Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, Calla, Holopaw, Stellastar, Pitty Sing, Mars Volta, Sparta, Travis, Interpol, Bright Eyes, J.R. Ewing, Sun Kil Moon, Refused, Burning Brides, Your Enemies Friends, Hot Snakes, Les Savy Fav, Sun Kil Moon...Damn, I could go on for quite a while.

Thanks for sharing. I love music and am always looking for new bands to check out.
