Does anyone have any experience buying those package deals (ya know with the camera, 3 lenses, case, flash, memory, ect) off of ebay?

What is the benefit of USA over Grey? I realize the USA warenty, but I have bought Grey stuff on accident before, and havent had any problem with it. Is there a reason I shouldnt buy a Grey camera?
thanks

Basically, Nikon USA won't even work on your grey market camera. If it breaks and you need a repair made, you'll probably have to ship it to Japan to get it worked on. Nikon USA won't touch it, even after the warranty expires, they won't touch it. I recommend spending a few extra dollars for USA warranty just in case anything goes wrong.

Spend the few extra bucks to get the USA guarantee over the grey. That way you can send in the program / defective peice of equipment to any of the camera company's international repair sites.

This is super important for someone like me who lives in Canada but purchases camera equipment from the USA. With the USA guarantee, all I need to do is send the defective equipment to Montreal or Toronto rather that to have it cross the border to be sent back to the camera store for repairs.

Spending a little more can you save you a lot of hassle.
