Hi guys, was wondering if anyone has been to the isle of Arran before. If you had any recommendations of places to shot or go, hopefully going on the 23rd for the weekend with the photo society at my uni. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

edit: should add, sorry if this has been asked before but the seach function seems to be down atm.

Studied geology there many a year ago. Goat Fell is a high spot and worth the climb. Some of the west coast cliff and shoreline is very picturesque. Rocks make Scotland's scenery grand including that of Arran. Check this link for more details. The key is good coastal walks. Have a fine time.

A sample itinerary would be... Isle of Arran Brewery then Brodick Castle then back to the brewery.

EDIT: Castle doesn't seem to be open until April so just stay at the brewery.
