If anyone has 'em, I'm desperately looking for some that aren't in the 100's of dollars range. Apparently, the Reds are not selling individual tickets for Opening Day this year...choosing instead to offer them only to season ticket holders and multi-game pack purchasers. No way I can spend that kind of cash....

So, you never know unless you ask, so I thought I'd throw it out here.

Not only do you have to buy season tickets, you can't even buy those at PBS now, you have to buy them on the Interenet. No more camping out...

PBS? Do you mean Paul Brown Stadium? That's Bengals...I'm looking for baseball which is Great American Ball Park. :) I'm not a huge Bengals fan. Only been to a few games there. I still think it stinks that single game tickets for opening day aren't going to be available.

Just an update...I did get my tickets (yay!) But also have an opportunity of anyone locally might want to get tickets and help with my office fundraiser. Here is the info I posted on the Red's Fan Forum:

I wanted Opening Day tickets so I tried to purchase two side by side Power packs for my daughter and myself. I was out of town on vacation when the online sale began, so I had my daughter trying at home and I was able to try on the computers at the resort. End result was that I ended up with both of us making the purchase (4 power packs...two sets of two side by side seats.) We had cell phones, but with trying to get through the ticket purchase page before it times out, we didn't call each other until both purchases had been completed.

Anyway...although I do a lot of business on Ebay, I didn't want to profit personally because that's a sticking point with me and Reds tickets, so here's an opportunity for you!

My office (Coldwell Banker West Shell Real Estate) does a fundraiser and helps build a Habitat for Humanity home every year. This year, I let my office have the "extra" power pack tickets to use as a fund raiser for this really wonderful organization. The raffle is for two view level seats behind home plate (523) for the entire power pack. Price per raffle ticket is $10 and we are limiting the number of tickets sold to 200. The raffle is through the Fairfield Office of Coldwell Banker and that is where you would purchase the raffle ticket. We are at 765 Nilles Rd. The drawing will be held on March 26th.

I hope it is okay to post this here. Not everyone can afford hundreds of dollars for tickets, but here's a chance to get them cheap and help out a worthy cause at the same time! Raffle tickets won't be on sale until next Tuesday, the 13th.

If you have any questions, you may email me at redsfundraiser @ yahoo.com (leave no spaces...I'm trying to avoid a ton of spam)

Thanks!

(For those of you who may not know, a "Power Pack" is a set of tickets sold by the Reds for 11 games...the opening 3 game series against the Cubs, the battle of Ohio 3 game series against the Indians, and all 5 fireworks night games. The raffle is for two complete sets in side by side seating.)
