I took this in our city park down the street from my house one day last week.

It's called Under the Grove because the name of the road is Walnut Grove.

I don't have much of a collection of nighttime photos. This is a 178-second long exposure from a bridge that I made recently while testing...

Nice shots Gordon. I particularly like the Yarra River and Times Square shots.

Love the Congress str. bridge shot, Gordon.
Were you out on the charter boat for that one?

Nope, just standing on a small dock with a Canon G2. Main trick was staying long enough (about an hour) to get the right light, while being chewed up by mosquitos. Off is the most important item in my camera bag these days.

This is awesome: I love the colours reflecting on the water. Can you get back there ? Can you shoot it at dusk ? The only thing that spoils it for me a touch is the low cloud/ light reflection/ pollution in the sky - would be awesome just after sunset with still a bit of colour in the sky ?

Even without that its a great shot

I am hoping to get back there. Maybe in June of next year. My girlfriend lives there and she is moving here to US near the end of June of next year and I may go there to help with the move. It is a very big move for her and Hong Kong is a very beautiful place to have to leave. If I go back I'll try to take more shots of that area. Glad you liked the photos and I see there are other great photos being posted on this message base. Great job guys. Keep those shutters going all.

Gordon: nice shots (left comment)
Rob: very unusual (left comment)
Bob: nice pier shot (left comment)

Ben: love those London Eye views. I hope you don't take offence, but I've taken the liberty of running two of them through the new PShop CS shad/hilite filter - please tell me what you think! I can't believe how much detail is hidden in some shots:

A couple more of mine:

Feel free to crit mine.

I really like Gordon's night shots. I have a question for him. How do you take panorama shots?
