Yep that would certainly fit the bill. Approaching $5,000 and no lens... shame.

I honestly have NO idea why anyone would want one of those.

Many consider the lenses the best in the world. also for street photography it makes almost no noise. People pay for quality and the features they want. BTW the 50 1.0 lens is almost $4,000 as well so those that pay end up paying alot

Just finished selecting a photo to submit. This was a lot of fun and I'll be posting outtakes.

I love trying to capture the right moment and I wish I had more time to do more Street Photography. I think that's my favourite type of shooting (well after photographing my cat of course *ducks* ;)

Went out this morning and got some shots. It was a very powerful thing as I made sure to go and speak to my models. See who they were and how they were doing. It made the whole process very personal. Amazing just amazing...

I've got 2 completely different shots that I really like. Totally different from each other and I can't decide which one to submit! Most of the time I struggle to get one shot that I really like.

Looks like I'm not entering this one...

People seem to be on a different path from me regarding this topic and the thought of all the dnmcs rolling in might mess up my vacation. ;) I also couldn't get down to the few places where I really wanted to shoot. One day to shoot's just not enough time.

I took around 30 shots yesterday and I seemed to be looking for subjects with the DPC masses in mind and that sucked...

I kept setting my camera where I though it might make the most voters happy and that sucked too...

I couldn't wash myself of it and that's no way to do this kind of photography...if my heart comes into play anywhere in this equation.

I'm in the same boat, shot #1 will probably do better in voting but I like shot #2 a lot more.

I think what might intimidate people is the fact that you shoot with no clothes on and you break into a two minute victory dance right after you've taken a shot you think might be a winner.

I know, I saw him on Front Street one day dong that..even Zanta looked the other way :P

I'm trying to narrow it down to the least bad of six different shots. The more processing I do, the more I wonder if I can do night time street photography. I mean, I do still have 6.5 hours to go. :)

I'll miss you not being in this one - I like your style of street shots. But given what you said, I can completely understand you sitting this one out. I'll just peruse your portfolio to see new stuff when you put it there. Cheers! (And have a great vacation!)

Well..I just went ahead and entered the one I liked the best. Might not go over to well but I like it.

Well, I decided on one and entered it. Then, I changed it to the one my son liked best. I'll probably change it back before rollover, or possibly even go with the third one that I narrowed it down to. I'm starting to wonder if it matters which one I enter. The best I think I can hope for is top half. :) It's gonna be a long week.

Enter Number One!! Go with your gut instinct.

This was very hard to decide. I chose the one that said the least to me, but is the most colorful. The one I really like is very bland and unexciting but says a lot about barriers in street life. Decided on the happy colorful one because that is what I think dp folks will like better. Must admit though that I have about 7 that I really like. Can't wait to post them next week in outtakes.

Ditto! I'm hoping for nice things (cuz I still believe in Santa) but I suspect it's gonna rise like a lead balloon :)

Heh heh. I'm waiting for the outtakes too! In the meantime, I'm listening to Judi. (Yep. . . the competition! [Like I'm in her league. :] )

Still, this means that when my shot tanks I can blame Judi! Right?
