This might be fun. Post what you think your very best picture is. It can be film or digital, taken whenever and edited however. Also, maybe a note to say why you like it, or a story about when it was taken.
Trying to get bugs this summer. He kept watching me just like he was posing.

I would have to wait until Still Life and Infinity are over as what I feel are two of my best shots are in those challenges.

Not sure about my best picture, but my favorite picture is:

Slightly better version

Considering the camera is only 1.3MP, and I've only gotten into photography within last couple of months, I thought it worked out well.

I took this this summer on our cruise through alaska. Actually, I got a lot of pics I really like on that trip, but this one has fantastic tones and seems to be a favorite for many who see it (as posted on other sites). I only have a 4 MP camera, but we blew this up to 20x30 and it came out fantastic. We just got it back from the frame shop in fact (gee, that was expensive!)

This one is my favorite so far, it was taken in New Orleans with a film camera.

I completely don't remember even taking it (I took a lot of photos that vacation) but boy was I surprised when they came back from the developer.

It has also been my best seller on eBay - I've sold approx. 20 copies of it so far in a couple sizes. The sale version is cropped on the left to get that bar out of the way.

These two tie as my second bests:

Mystique

Relief

Now if only I could duplicate this type of success with a digital camera.

A memory from my birthday trip to photograph our lovely province.

My favourite infra red shot so far.

This shot of a quiet stream on a very gray November morning is still one of my favorites. I adjusted the levels slightly, but the desaturated sky and water against the saturated grasses are pretty much straight from the camera.

The colors seem to lose some intensity after I upload, but eventually I'll figure out how to adjust for that.

I was just sitting here looking at that picture saying "that looks exactly like the river at Oxbow Park...there's the gravel road and..." I then looked and saw that it was taken in (or at least near) Rochester, MN.

Small world!

I don't know if this is my "best" photo, but it's the only one ever "picked" for anything (an honorable mention/staff pick at Jones Soda). It was taken at Disneyland on September 12, 2001 (the "day after").

That's Isaac and his cousin Ethan, two GufyGuys, inside Mickey's Toontown house, handheld, ambient light, camera shake, etc.

Although I feel that one of my best images is currently being voted on, I'm quite fond of these two shots.

I was checking my first photos and found this one:

One of my first Studio shots :-)

This shot was quite lucky really. All automatic settings, in the right place at the right time...

Well thanks, I did actually take about 30 different shots of that pier to get 1 or 2 which came out that well. It is too bad about that other photo ... and she's my cousin too.

Left you a comment on your "Sticks" photo -- good job!

This is not quite on par with everybody else's, as I'm a beginner photographer, but I consider this one of my favourites:

Total disregard for sanitation! I like the clouds reflecting on the windshield and the money reflecting in the guy's sunglasses ( although you can't see it too well at this low resolution =/ )
