I got a call and posted what I had just in case I didnt make it. A made it back just a minute after midnight pfffft. I didnt have time to tweak the shot :( I tried hard to get the shot right so I wanted to get it in but the PP is a let down.

I'm kinda disappointed at my start. I thought I had a pretty good submission. I actually took the time to print it out so I could take it to work... oh well. 3 votes doesn't exactly spell consensus I guess :)

One more thing... how are people thinking of voting in terms of the composition? My thoughts are that if it appears that it would look better being composed using the rule of thirds I might dock it. Some things lend themselves better to center composition. I guess center also doesn't mean exact center. It can mean vertically or horizontally centered. The previous incarnation was specific about it. This one isn't...

Well I haven't started voting on Centered Comp yet but I know I will go through and sort. Images that get my attention right away get rated a 6,7,8,or 9
Regular images get a 5
Images too small get a 2.
I then go back and sort through the 6+ scores and bump accordingly and then comment usually on the 8,9, and 10's
I then go to the bottom and tell the people why I vote low and provide them with a link to the tutorial here.
Then I try to go back and randomly pik a few 5's to leave some constructive comments on.
So they may be like me.
