I finally managed to get a confirmation on my reservation at the hotel - so now everything seems to be in place for me :)

I'll be driving from Copenhagen on June 29th in the morning, arriving in Munster some time latte afternoon - and driving back again on July 2nd. If anybody needs a lift from somewhere on my way just let me know...

See you all in 4 weeks :)

just a quick travel question.

I am looking to fly into dortmund arriving at around 1730 on the friday.
The german rail website i looked at said it would be about 4 hours and 3 connections. Looking at the map, I don't think this can be right.

Can anyone shed some light on getting from dortmund airport to munster by rail at that time??

cheers

Go here. It looks like it takes 50 mins or so. You must type in "Muenster" to get Munster with the umlaut (sp). Try that. Look like trains leave every 30 minutes.

As someone who made it last year but cannot make it this year - have a great time, everyone! If it is only half as good as last year then you will be truly blessed but as I suspect it will be even better - enjoy!

to make a u with an umlaut you hold down the alt key and hit 0252 on the keypad and then release the alt key
like so

If you use Windows, you can look them up in Character Map (type charmap from the Run box). Find the letter youre looking for, click it, and the keystroke combination appears in the status bar, lower right.

...or you could install the language bar even, and switch between the English and Deutsch keyboards.

I can switch between Deutsch and English keyboards, but I can't remember the keys. :-) Thanks for the codes, folks!

Less than 3 weeks to go till the workshop and GTG. Everything is go and looking good. This year will top last year's workshop in every way, look forward to an amazing time here, we are doing our best to offer you something you won't forget for a long time. I promise you that you won't regret coming over for this.

There is still room for a couple more participants, it is not too late, just drop me a line!

Here are two of the DPC'ers from last year's workshop. Totally sober of course :)

I think I'll probably drive up from Munich on Friday afternoon. Only about 700 Km!
I got a temporary new work car yesterday.
Audi A3 Fastback. 140 hp. Luckily with Navi, so It is more difficult to get lost.
Anyone need me to pick them up on the way?
