I didn't. They didnt however take any payment info. the just said a room was reserved. so If you do it and they ask you to pay ahead of time. let me know please. jsut in case them not asking me for payment was an oversight. I'd hate to get there and not have a room.
Thanks.

The hotel already knows that most of the participants will be coming from English speaking countries so your confirmation is certain. I will however check it out on Monday to make sure. I'll send you an email next week.

If I do drive, what is the situation for parking? Can we park at the hotel? And do we make our own reservations at the hotel but let them know it's part of the "conference"? (I need to learn a wee bit more German before I attempt that!)

There is ample parking at the hotel and there is video surveilence in the parking area.

You will have to make your own reservations at the hotel, we have reserved 20 rooms and they speak good English there. I will sort out a cue word with the hotel, something like DPC workshop or something. I'll do it on Monday.

Oh, and if I am going to drive, I could possibly pick up a passenger in Frankfurt if someone needed a ride. Right now it could only be one passenger unless I get a car that seats more by then.

Maybe you can take Serdar with you, he lives in Frankfurt.

oh, I've been away for a while, enjoying life:)
and I have missed this thread.
I am so happy I am on the list! thank you!

should I apply for the workshops separately? I would love to be everywhere.

we (me and my dh) are planning to drive down there through Danmark. we have done it several times before and it is always so much fun!
it would be great to use one of the parking places at the hotel if it possible?

You don't need to apply for the workshops you are already in. Parking is available at the hotel if you are a guest there or if you are attending the workshop on June 30th for about 6 Euros.

I have talked to the hotel and the cue word for booking the rooms they have blocked is "DPC workshop". Those of you who have already booked, you don't need to change anything, the rooms are confirmed. The blocked rooms are only available until May 7th.

OK, this is something like a commercial about the GTG: have you realized that four of the six first positions are from people that was attending the GTG last year ??? Pedro, Nasti, Peter (akiwi) and Gary. Kudos to all of you.
That's quite a good advert.

OK, all of them where absolutely great before the GTG, but...

I'm hoping to learn something from you in june, friends.

Álex.
