I know that the entries usually pick up on the weekend but by Friday we normally have at least 50 or so. Maybe this was more of a challenge than expected? It wasn't that easy for me, that's for sure. Anyone still working on submissions?

I usually get an idea by mid-week, but my muse has refused to get in touch with me this time around. I'm hoping I get an idea and some time to shoot this weekend, but it doesn't look good.

I'm gonna shoot my picture today... or tomorrow. I think many people use the week to come up with an idea and then shoot on saturday or sunday.

This particular challenge idea isn't stimulating my creativity either but I will give it a try anyway :) I have a photo posted but I plan to re-do it... I'm not happy with it...

I also think everyone is afraid of being labeled 'cliche' these days too...

Or maybe, what the submitters are concerned that their creativity won't meet the general voter idea of "upside down" at the end of your arm with a mirror. (LOL)

I only have one idea and if I can't make it happen, I might not submit.

To me, this challenge feels too similar to 'from the ground up', so I suspect that some people don't want to just repeat the previous... or that they used up all their good ideas for that one ;o) Roll on the next one!

Unless I can come up with something interresting the next 2 days I'm afraid I have to skip this weeks challenge too.

Yeah, that's the only other challenge for which I did didn't get any ideas other than the boring ones.

I have an idea... I don't know if I can make it happen. I need an item that's in the pocket of my jacket, which I left at my friend's house. I haven't been able to get hold of said friend all week.

Time, time, time . . . I had an idea when I was looking through some old photos of mine, now I have to try to get back to that spot reshoot . . . all that while my father-in-law turns 70 this weekend and it's mother's day . . .

I just submitted my inagural photo here. I dont know if I am going to keep it though, the topic says "camera angle" which to me was already been covered in the ground up challenge. I opted to go another route with my shot, I expect people will judge against me not for using camera angle vs my method to upside down (not rotate either).

I've come up with several ideas, but most of them are not in reach for me. For example, a stunt plane flying upside down or something like that. Just don't know where to find those. :) I'm still thinking... have a few ideas to play with, just trying to figure out where I can get the shots.... Hope to submit something for the first time, but may not be able to get the shot I'm thinking of... :(

Not so sure I'm going to submit this time either. I skipped out on the last go 'round also. For one, I was just a little discouraged with it all. And two, I just didn't have any ideas coming to me.

I'm not as discouraged anymore. I've come to realize quite a few things this past two weeks. But I still don't have any great ideas coming to me yet on this challenge...plus I've got a busy weekend ahead. So if nothing spectacular jumps in my camera path by Sunday, then I'll be catching it on the next round.

Actually if you read the rules....
'It's a camera angle. It's a subject position. It's whatever your creativity limits you to. Your photo must be taken this week (05/6-05/12). Good luck!'

Your subject can be upside down. I got really lucky and had something to shoot early in the week. I'm not sure how well it will do though so I've been thinking of other ideas all week and I can't think of anything.

Eddy,

Don't get too wrapped up in this... This challenge could be interpreted lots of ways.. I am looking for photos where the camera is upside down and where the subject is upside down... I'm interested to see what people come up with :)

Thanks for the encouragement, I guess I will keep it unless something stands out at me this weekend.

I have been meaning to submit something the past 4 challenges but I have not had the time. I just want to submit a photo, all these challenges I know I could of come up with something.

Not expecting much on this one, its possibly the toughest challenge since transitions, I signed on back when Curves was active.

i'm in the same boat. i want something dramatic, like you say. i don't want to just take a picture of someone hanging upside down at a playground, lol. I want something that's not norrmally upside down - something like a building or a car. it would be nice if i would have time to set up a room in my house so that it looks like we're sitting ont the ceiling, with the lamps sticking up, and whatnot.

but even a bat or a trapeze artist would be cool, as would a gymnast.

i'm definintely not going to go for any kind of metaphorical interpretation, or any pictures of the letter 8 or O. we've seen what happens when you do that! :P)

Whaa......? I'd have to see a prize first, like a bag of jelly beans, before I'd go THAT far!

hehe--ironically, i actually thought of all of these ideas myself! but then i just decided that i was too tired to rearrange my whole house, :) especially after all the work i put into the last challenge! so, i feel lame, but i don't even know if i'll submit this week...
