I had an entry AND an outtake. The apocalypse is upon us.

It wasn't actually an outtake though - I knew it wasn't DPC friendly and had no intentions of entering it. But I really like it anyway.

My dirty-eyed, ear chopped actual entry...

I missed the deadline by seconds with this one. How would you have voted it?

these were my the others I had considered:

I really like the b/w shot, but just did not feel it would do well here at DPC.

3 Cats and a horse even before we see first sign of a dog. At least I think its a dog. ;)

Thanks, Melethia for for the nice comment. The sad part of all of this, is that my WPL3 team lost the playoff round and this shot may have put us over the edge. I feel like I let my team down.

This was my entry, agree with score and comments.

But would any of the outtakes done better?
- with Tone Mapping applied
- B&W Version

or
- Felix in B&W

Ok, I was apparently WAY off base with my voting. I thought the 2nd place pic was way over-processed (sorry Yanko), and this pic should have been way higher!! Shows how much I know! :)

edit: Man I use the word 'way' WAY too much

I like the outtake better on this one. It's nice work, very classic.

I think I like this one best Scott but I tend to be partial to B&W's ( and cute puppies for that matter) :-)

Edit: PS- Thanks Rebecca. :)

This is Mitmit , she's the most amazing kitty I've ever met . She really has been posing , sometimes she has fallen asleep (she's a baby) but she has return to the place many times waiting for more shots...

I don't have any outtakes, it was the last shot I took before my lens died and wouldn't focus anymore, not in Auto or Manual :(

My other choice for entry

The Nose! My favorite, but a little blown out

And a B/W version of my entry
