Hey all,
Im looking at selling my Canon 10-22 wide angle to a good friend and need help with a price.

Sells for around $1200 aussie dollars in the shops
Purchased it for $ 910 on ebay about 6 months ago
thinking maybe $ 700 but have never purchased or sold a used lens to know the value. (if thats too much just let me know)

Any help on this would be great as I would like to let him know a price today.

lens is in great condition.

Cheers nick

Just had a quick look on eBay, there's a used one, 18 months old, for A$850 bucks. If it was a good mate of mine?...$1200...
Nah, probably around $800 or so?

So what are you replacing it with? mmmmm??

He he, classic car man, so how are you going to get around? Do you have a tram timetable?

For those who are wondering what the heck an "HZ Panelvan" is, it's a utility-bodied version oif a Holden automobile from Australia; they're GM's Australian branch.

Cherry van dude, in good nick too( ha no pun intended)they are pretty rare these days in that condition too, good thing it's still in the family. Needs to be lowered a bit though, she's lookin' a little agricultural. : )

eta: yep I'd be happy with 750.

Having him give you money and you keeping both the lens and the money is ripping him off. Selling a used lens at a discount off retail isn't a rip off.

yeah never got around to lowering it. she's pretty sweet 308 dual fuel. its a sad day when a boy trades cylinders for pixels.

If he doesnt take it and you are interested just let me know dude you will have first chance at it. (the lens that is, the vans gone ;)
